archives: water towers and sheds

i have been looking at these photographs by bernd and hilla becher. they are an archive of the subtle changes in all those mundane things we forget to look at. they remind me of this book that i got when i was studying in scotland called sheds, which consists of beautiful drawings of sheds, like this one here.

tents

im making a tent and having been looking at various tent styles. there are so many kinds of tents! and so many beautiful ones. how nice to have your house fold up and follow you where ever you go.
